Our Story
One suite,
and the reason for it
We could have built four. We built one, and gave it the whole hillside.

The name
Etéreo — αιθέριος — is the Greek word for something made of air. It is what the light does here between seven and nine in the evening, when the bay stops being water and becomes colour.
We named the suite after the part of the day we could not build. Everything else, we built around it.
The land
Dio Spilies is the hillside between Adamas and Sarakiniko. For most of the family's life it was a place you passed through on the way to somewhere else. It has the one thing the port does not have: quiet, and the whole bay in front of you.
The decision
The plot could hold more. We chose one suite for two people, with the hot tub, the terrace and the garden belonging to it alone. It means fewer guests and a longer season of getting it right — and it means nobody ever walks past your window.
The standard
One suite means we can be particular about it. Linen changed whenever you want it, the hot tub cleaned and checked every day, and somebody who answers your message within the hour rather than the day. We are not running a hotel and we do not pretend to. What we can do is keep one place exactly right.
What we ask
Two things. Rent something with wheels — Milos does not work without it, and we will tell you where. And send us your ferry or your flight, so somebody is there with the keys instead of a lockbox.

Tell us when you would like to come. We answer personally, usually the same day, with our best available direct rate.
